On 14 February, we give flowers that wilt and chocolates that don't last the week. Nothing wrong with that — but nothing that says what you really think, least of all what you want them to remember a few years from now.

- No. The message stays sealed and invisible until the set date. Opening it then takes the Guardian's code and the password chosen at sealing, in the Sylorkey app.
